What makes a good man?

Models of masculinity may be less constricting than they used to be - but boys and men are confused about what's expected of them, and it shows! We're struggling in education, mental health and relationships; and we need to have constructive conversations about these challenges.

Simon Smart has written "The end of men?" to explore what makes a good man today.  Drawing on his own experiences of schooling, fatherhood, the best of contemporary research and interviews with people doing great work in this area today, as well as drawing on ancient wisdom, he asks the question: how can we help boys become their best selves and a gift to those around them?
