Kingsley Church of Christ was founded in 1985 as a group of Christians were moving into the area.  Their desire was to join together to form a local church that would be a vibrant witness to Jesus in Kingsley and the surrounding suburbs, helping more people come to know Him as their Saviour and Lord.

We continue in that tradition today.  Our mission is to share and declare the love of God in our communities.

It's a mission, because Jesus has given us this task.  It's much more than an activity, it's our identity.  Sharing and declaring God's love is what life is all about.

We share the love of God in the way we live.  From the tone of voice we use in conversations, the expressions on our faces, the acts of service we perform, thoughtful gifts given and time invested... there's no limit to the different ways we can express God's love.  Most communication is non-verbal, so what we share in our presence with people is pretty important!

We declare the love of God in what we say.  People need to know the truth about how we can be reconciled to God, how we live as members of His family, how the bible applies to all of life's circumstances and so on.

The love of God is what we want to communicate.  The story of God's love for us is woven through the whole narrative of the bible.  It's experienced in our own personal lives.  His love for us motivated our creation, reconciled us after our rebellion, restores our broken lives and will sustain us for all eternity.  The most loving thing we can do for people is both to model and teach the full truth that is found in Jesus Christ.

This message must be shared with our communities.  Whether it's people who come along to our services and events, people we connect with in workplaces, homes, neighbourhoods, sports clubs - wherever it is that people meet - we want to be sharing and declaring God's love to those people in those places.  We partner with other churches locally and have ministry partners in other areas of the state, nation and around the world.  Wherever people come together in community, we want to be sharing & declaring God's love.
